  1. REVELATION 20:7-15
    The Judgment of Satan
When the thousand years are over, Satan will
be released from his prison 8 and will go out
to deceive the nations in the four corners of
the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for
battle. In number they are like the sand on the
seashore. They marched across the breadth of the
earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people,
the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven
and devoured them. And the devil, who deceived
them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,
where the beast and the false prophet had been
thrown. They will be tormented day and night for
    ever and ever.

The Judgment of the Dead Then I saw a great
white throne and him who was seated on it.
The earth and the heavens fled from his presence,
and there was no place for them. And I saw the
dead, great and small, standing before the throne,
and books were opened. Another book was opened,
which is the book of life. The dead were judged
according to what they had done as recorded in the
books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it,
and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in
them, and each person was judged according to what
they had done. Then death and Hades were thrown
into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the
second death. Anyone whose name was not found
written in the book of life was thrown into
    the lake of fire.

  2. Luke 13:1-9
    Repent or Perish
Now there were some present at that
time who told Jesus about the Galileans
whose blood Pilate had mixed with their
    sacrifices.Jesus answered, “Do you think
that these Galileans were worse sinners
than all the other Galileans because
they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But
unless you repent, you too will all perish.
Or those eighteen who died when the tower in
Siloam fell on them—do you think they were
more guilty than all the others living in
Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless
you repent, you too will all perish.”
Then he told this parable: “A man had a
fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went
to look for fruit on it but did not find any.
So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard,
‘For three years now I’ve been coming to look for
fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any.
Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?’
“‘Sir,’ the man replied, ‘leave it alone for
one more year, and I’ll dig around it and
fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year,
fine! If not, then cut it down.’”

  3. Matthew 25:1-13
The Parable of the Ten Virgins
At that time the kingdom of heaven will
be like ten virgins who took their lamps
and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Five of them were foolish, and five
were wise. The foolish ones took their
lamps but did not take along any extra oil.
But the wise ones took oil in flasks along
with their lamps. 5When the bridegroom was
delayed, they all became drowsy and
    fell asleep.

At midnight the cry went out: ‘Here is
the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’

Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed
their lamps. 8The foolish ones said to
    the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil;
    our lamps are going out.’

‘No,’ said the wise ones, ‘or there may
not be enough for both us and you. Instead,
go to those who sell oil and buy some for
    yourselves.’

But while they were on their way to buy
it, the bridegroom arrived. Those who
were ready went in with him to the wedding
banquet, and the door was shut.

Later, the other virgins arrived and
said ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us!’

But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you,
    I do not know you.’

    Therefore keep watch, because you
do not know the day or the hour.

    Mark 7:14-23

Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said,
“Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
Nothing outside a person can defile them by
going into them. Rather, it is what comes out
of a person that defiles them.”
After he had left the crowd and entered the
house, his disciples asked him about this parable.
“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see
that nothing that enters a person from the
outside can defile them? For it doesn’t
go into their heart but into their stomach,
and then out of the body.”
(In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)

He went on: “What comes out of a person
is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within,
out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts
    come—sexual immorality, theft, murder,
    adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness,
    envy, slander, arrogance and folly.
All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

  4. Matthew 24

The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of
    the End Times

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his
disciples came up to him to call his attention
to its buildings.“Do you see all these things?”
he asked. “Truly I tell you, not one stone here
will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives,
the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,”
they said, “when will this happen, and what
will be the sign of your coming and of the end
    of the age?”

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives
you.For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am
the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will
hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it
that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen,
but the end is still to come. Nation will rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of birth pains.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put
to death, and you will be hated by all nations because
of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith
and will betray and hate each other, and many false
prophets will appear and deceive many people.
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of
most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to
the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom
will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to
all nations, and then the end will come.

“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the
abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through
the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—
then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out
of the house. Let no one in the field go back to
get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in
those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!
Pray that your flight will not take place in winter
or on the Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great
distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world
until now—and never to be equaled again.

“If those days had not been cut short, no one would
survive, but for the sake of the elect those days
will be shortened. At that time if anyone says
to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’
do not believe it. For false messiahs and false
prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders
to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See,
I have told you ahead of time.

“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’
do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not
believe it.For as lightning that comes from the east is
visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the
Son of Man. Wherever there is a carcass,
    there the vultures will gather.

“Immediately after the distress of those days

    “‘the sun will be darkened,
    and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in
heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn
when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of
heaven, with power and great glory. And he will
send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will
gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of
    the heavens to the other.

“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon
as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out,
you know that summer is near. Even so, when
you see all these things, you know that it is near, right
at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will
certainly not pass away until all these things have
happened. Heaven and earth will pass away,
but my words will never pass away.

    The Day and Hour Unknown

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even
the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the
coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before
the flood, people were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day
Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing
about what would happen until the flood came
and took them all away. That is how it wil be
at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in
the field; one will be taken and the other left.
    Two women will be grinding with a hand mill;
one will be taken and the other left.

“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know
on what day your Lord will come. But understand this:
If the owner of the house had known at what time of
night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch
and would not have let his house be broken into.
So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man
will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

“Who then is the faithful and wise servant,
whom the master has put in charge of the servants
in his household to give them their food at
the proper time? It will be good for that
servant whose master finds him doing so when he
returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge
of all his possessions. But suppose that servant
is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying
away a long time,’ and he then begins to beat his
fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards.
The master of that servant will come on a day when
he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware
of.He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with
the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and
    gnashing of teeth.

    Matthew 6:10-15
    Jesus said:
    So then, this is
    how you should pray:

    ‘Our Father in heaven,
    hallowed be Your name,
    Your kingdom come,
    Your will be done,
on earth as it is in
    heaven.
Give us this day our daily
    bread,
    And forgive us our debts,
    as we also have forgiven
    our debtors;
    And lead us not into
    temptation,
    but deliver us from
    the evil one.

For if you forgive men their
    trespasses, your
    Heavenly Father will also
    forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men their
    trespasses, neither will your
    Father forgive yours.

If your eyes are healthy, your
whole body will be full of light.
But if your eyes are unhealthy,
your whole body will be full of
darkness. If then the light within
you is darkness, how great is that
    darkness!

A Person Filled with Bad or Good
    Jesus said:
“When a demon is gone out of a man,
it goes through dry places to find
rest. It finds none. Then it says,
‘I will go back into my house from
which I came.’ When it goes back, it sees
that it is empty. But it sees that the
house has been cleaned and looks good.
Then it goes out and comes back bringing
with it seven demons more sinful than
itself. They go in and live there. In
the end that man is worse than at first.
It will be like this with the sinful
    people of this day.”

    Salt and Light
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt
loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty
again? It is no longer good for anything,
except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

“You are the light of the world. A town
built on a hill cannot be hidden.
Neither do people light a lamp and put it
    under
a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand,
and it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your light shine before
others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.

    Matthew5:17-20-47

    The Fulfillment of the Law
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law
or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but
to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until
heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest
letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will
by any means disappear from the Law until
    everything is accomplished. Therefore
anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands
and teaches others accordingly will be called least in
the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and
teaches these commands will be called great in
the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless
your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees
and the teachers of the law, you will certainly
not enter the kingdom of heaven.

    Murder
“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago,
    ‘You shall not murder,
and anyone who murders will be
    subject to judgment.’
But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother
    or sister
will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to
a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the
court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in
danger of the fire of hell.

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar
and there remember that your brother or sister has
something against you, leave your gift there in
    front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them;
then come and offer your gift.

“Settle matters quickly with your adversary who
is taking you to court. Do it while you are
still together on the way, or your adversary
may hand you over to the judge, and the judge
may hand you over to the officer, and you may
be thrown into prison. 26 Truly I tell you, you
will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

    Adultery
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit
    adultery.
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully
    has already
committed adultery with her in his heart. If your
right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and
throw it away. It is better for you to lose one
part of your body than for your whole body to be
thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes
you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away.
It is better for you to lose one part of your
body than for your whole body to go into hell.

    Divorce
“It has been said, ‘Anyone who divorces his
wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife,
except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery,
and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

    Oaths
“Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago,
‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you
have made.’ But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all:
either by heaven, for it is God’s throne;or by the earth,
for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city
of the Great King. 36 And do not swear by your head, for you
cannot make even one hair white or black. All you need to say
is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the
    evil one.

    Eye for Eye
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for
tooth.’ But I tell you, do not resist an evil person.
If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the
other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and
take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.
If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with
them two miles.Give to the one who asks
you, and do not turn away from the one who
    wants to borrow from you.

    Love for Enemies
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighborand
    hate your enemy.’
But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who
persecute you, that you may be children of your Father
in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and
the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
If you love those who love you, what reward will you
get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you
greet only your own people, what are you doing more than
others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect,
therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

  7. EZEKIEL 18:24-31
“But if a righteous person turns
    from their righteousness and commits
sin and does the same detestable things
the wicked person does, will they live?
None of the righteous things that person
has done will be remembered. Because of
the unfaithfulness they are guilty of
and because of the sins they have committed,
    they will die.
“Yet you say, ‘The way of the Lord is not
just.’ Hear, you Israelites: Is my way unjust?
Is it not your ways that are unjust? If a
righteous person turns from their righteousness
and commits sin, they will die for it; because
of the sin they have committed they will die.
But if a wicked person turns away from the
wickedness they have committed and does what
is just and right, they will save their life.
Because they consider all the offenses they have
committed and turn away from them, that person
will surely live; they will not die. Yet the
Israelites say, ‘The way of the Lord is not just.’
Are my ways unjust, people of Israel? Is it not
    your ways that are unjust?
“Therefore, you Israelites, I will judge each
of you according to your own ways, declares the
Sovereign Lord. Repent! Turn away from all your
offenses; then sin will not be your downfall.
Rid yourselves of all the offenses you
have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit.
Why will you die, people of Israel?
For I take no pleasure in the death of
    anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord.
    Repent and live!

    Matthew 5:3-12
    Sermon on the Mount
    Jesus:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

    Blessed are those who mourn,
    for they will be comforted.

    Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and
    thirst for righteousness,
    for they will be filled.

    Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart,

    Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted

“Blessed are you when people insult you,
    persecute you and falsely
