Hold the Date: Library Bake Sale February 10

The Owl has been informed that on Friday, February 10th from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (or until sold out), there will be a Valentine’s Day-themed bake sale in the Weston Public Library Lobby, in celebration of the American Library Association’s Library Lovers Month. So, you don’t even need to have a special someone unless it’s a book and then you can just give it a cookie. And then, because books don’t have mouths, you get to keep the cookie. Why do I have to explain these things.? It’s quite simple: you love cookies, buy some cookies. Eat them. Love your books and your library. And have your cake too.

The Friends of the Public Library will be selling a variety of Valentine’s Day-themed treats like decorated cookies, brownies, cupcakes, and more! All proceeds go to supporting the Weston Public Library (located at 87 School Street).
