  1. HAPPY 2023 EVERYONE! I hope you’re all having an amazing start to your year! I hope this video gives you some design inspiration and direction for your home this year!! 😍

    1. Love this video…I’m building a house this year and so excited to know this!! Bring on the personality:)

    2. @Renee Mairs no! Unfortunately there is no giveaway! Please ignore the spam message from that fake account. It’s not me!

    3. @Kristen McGowan I’ve reported them. It’s so unfair to you too. I love your stuff. Thanks for posting such great videos ❤️

  2. I don’t follow trends but I do really like the warm wood tones and brown paint colours that are showing up more.

  3. Hey Kristen, thank you for all unique ideas. I can’t wait for your next video each time 😊.
Please let me know where I can find similar full length wall mirrors in your dining room.

  4. Happy New Kristin! Here’s to more you in 2023 and more and more devoted fans like me! I’ve been watching since you started. #1 fan! Okay… maybe I’m one of thousands of #1 fans, but who’s counting!

  5. OMG dark colors ‘ busy marbles patterns , I can’t even look at them without gasping with horror … no thanks !

  6. Happy new year! You’re the YouTuber who’s the most spot on the 2023 trends. A year or 2 ago i commented on a YouTubers channel that white kitchens we’re getting out of style and i got insulted that i was ridiculous. I guess she was upset because her kitchen was all white 😂 happy that theyre out of style.
anyways, im glad you mentioned that spaces should look personal. Im so tired of seeing all the same looking spaces all over social media. Thank god print magazines like Elle Decor always featured very unique personal spaces. The colour brown is also very appealing to me for 2023.

  7. Thank goodness because all the whites and grays were so lifeless, to me… I love the antiques and rich colors! Finally we’re heading in a direction that saves money and builds character

  8. I watch a lot of interior design videos but yours are so hypnotizing and the way you always explain the trends,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,love it. So thank you!

  9. This video hits on a lot of design choices I have made and still make. I love thrifting especially since I have to work on a budget. I guess now I can say that I am trendy? Thank you for the inspiration.

  10. Right before Christmas we finished a space in our home. We renovated our stairwell and large landing area at the top. We call it the bonus room. We replaced all of the stair treads, and the handrail. Added board and batten all the way up the stairs and around the room. We painted it a dark moody color that changes in different lighting. It sometimes looks like a dark almost black gray, and other times it looks like a dark navy blue. The council table that I put under our mounted TV is tonal with the wall. I put light furniture in the room to lighten it up in there. This room as the most windows in the house. So I wasn’t afraid to go dark. I did antuiqe brass accents in the decor and hardware. I wish I could include a photo in my comment! I am beyond happy with how this space turned out. I love just sitting in there quietly, no screens with a coffee, a candle lit and enjoying our country 2nd story views! 💗

  11. Great video Kristen. I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone come into their own style this year. My husband and I purchased an old home in April of last year and have been working to bring it up to code and renovate it. Everything is painted alabaster; this gives me the flexibility to update the design on my own time.
